Merton and Sutton Rethink Meetings

The Merton and Sutton Branch of Rethink hold regular meetings at:

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month at  7.30 pm.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 at 7.30 pm in the Wimbledon Guild. 

Wimbledon Wednesday Group Meetings

The  Wimbledon Wednesday Group is for service users and meets at:

Meetings are held every Wednesday from 5-8pm. 

The Group is user led and provides mutual support and friendship for people suffering from severe mental illness.  All service users are very welcome to come along.  Hot food, such as baked potatoes, filled rolls and drinks including tea, coffee and soft drinks are available at reasonable prices.  Activities include quizzes, artwork, listening to music and Scrabble. The group also organizes theatre trips and day excursions to places of interest.

Carers Cafe

Carers Support Merton runs a regular social evening, with meal provided, for carers of people with serious mental illness on the third Tuesday of every month, from 6.30pm at:

The Lantern Arts Centre
Worple Road
Raynes Park

An additional carers Cafe has recently been set up at:

Vestry Hall
The Cricket Green
Mitcham

This takes place once a month from 12.30 - 3pm on Friday lunchtime.
